Our two Scandinavian style chalets in North Dorset offer very comfortable accommodation. Ideal for family reunions or as a base to visit the many attractions around Dorset and neighbouring counties. The spacious contemporary interiors offer all mod cons.and en-suite facilities.

Each chalet sleeps six and every bedroom has en-suite facilities and the chalets are separated by young Blue Spruce trees.

Wi-fi is available in all the chalets although not particularly fast.

Duncliffe Chalet - 4* Gold AA inspected has a double bedroom downstairs with bath and shower over bath. On the first floor the large en-suite master bedroom with King size bed and has its own balcony and across the landing the twin bedroom looks out towards Duncliffe hill and Shaftesbury beyond with an en-suite shower room.

There is a separate cloakroom in the hall.

The spacious open plan lounge with kitchen/diner have all the mod cons including 32" television, leather reclining sofa's, dishwasher and microwave.

French doors from the lounge open out onto the large veranda which lead out to the spacious open grounds, ideal for playing football with the kids or just running around.

Large six seater hot tub with 36 jets, mood lighting and reclining lounger. For all year use a fully enclosed gazebo surrounds the hot tub and with a star gazing roof and all round glazed side panels and sliding door you'll be able to soak without the outdoor elements.

Melbury Chalet, a 4 star Visit Britain chalet, accommodates six people.The interior is light and neutral with many of the walls and ceilings clad with natural pine.

The spacious master double bedroom has its own balcony with en-suite shower room.

The large twin room upstairs has spectacular views of Duncliffe and Melbury woods and the town of Shaftesbury. It includes an en-suite shower room.

The third double bedroom on the ground floor has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower over bath.

The spacious open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen is furnished in a contemporary style including leather reclining sofas, 32” flat screen TV and remote controlled black glass corner fire. French windows open out onto the veranda. The large kitchen has been fitted with wine rack, integrated dishwasher and fridge, electric oven and Hob and built in microwave.

There is an additional cloakroom downstairs.

Melbury has it's own six seater hot tub with 32 swirling jets on the veranda with semi open gazebo.

Both chalets have a £100 security damage deposit

Our farm , Stour Cross Farm, is a traditionally run dairy farm. We have 150 acres of pasture land and 140 black and white Friesian cows. The dairy herd graze during the summer months in the field adjacent to the chalets but don't worry there is a sturdy fence separating them!

Full use of our games room providing free wi-fi and all sorts of activities for young and old including pool, table tennis and air hockey.
