This inviting property is nestled in a sprawling 7,000-acre estate, where you’ll find a plethora of activities to indulge in, backed by the rolling hills of Cranborne Chase National Landscape. Hikers can explore numerous trails, while golf enthusiasts can access Rushmore Golf Club with an 18-hole parkland course and an inviting clubhouse, just across the drive. Head to Tollard Royal, a village with a charming local pub (3 miles). The Larmer Tree Victorian Pleasure Gardens with its coffee shop is only 1.5 miles away, and both Salisbury Cathedral and the New Forest National Park are reachable within 18 miles. Shaftesbury, with its quaint high street, eateries and boutique shops, is just 8 miles away. Really cosy cottage but could do with some more lighting/lamps. We moved a lamp down from the bedroom which did improve things but a standard lamp would have been great to make reading easier when on the sofas.
