Kastania is a spacious detached house that has been carefully designed with space and comfort in mind. This generous, family friendly property is located in Bere Regis, a village known as Kingsbere in Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Urbervilles, and is ideally situated for exploring South Dorset.
Situated in the heart of the popular village of Bere Regis, and just over a mile away from Wareham Forest with its walking and cycling trails, this spacious house sits in a small cul-de-sac and has plenty of off-road parking. Kastania offers the ideal family and pet friendly accommodation, with a sitting room, dining room, study, conservatory and kitchen on the ground floor. On the first floor of this generous property you will find four bedrooms, a family bathroom and an en-suite shower room. The fully enclosed south-facing garden is the ideal space for relaxing and enjoying alfresco meals together on sunny days, and from the front of the property there are glimpses through to the nearby watercress beds.
The village has a shop, a post office, and two pubs The Royal Oak and The Drax Arms. Nearby are the famous attractions of Monkey World, the Bovington Tank Musuem, and Clouds Hill which is the former home of T.E. Lawrence ("Lawrence of Arabia"), and now owned by The National Trust. Iconic Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are just a pleasant short drive away, and Kastania is the perfect base for exploring Wareham, Corfe Castle and the Isle of Purbeck beyond. The popular beaches of Weymouth, Kimmeridge Bay, Studland and Swanage within all easy reach.
