Tucked away on the outskirts of the historic village of Corfe Castle in Dorset, is this lovely four-bedroom cottage, Corfe Lodge. Enjoying a superb setting within the Dorset AONB with easy access to the local amenities and an array of beaches, Corfe Lodge is a fantastic dwelling for a group or family of eight. Leave your vehicle in one of three off-road parking spaces, before entering your new abode. Look forward to whipping up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen/diner, ready to enjoy at the large dining table for eight over a bottle of wine, there is also a TV, so you don’t have to miss out on your favourite shows! If the weather is nice, why not dine alfresco out in the rear enclosed garden, where you can savour the last of the day’s rays and views of Corfe Castle. After dinner, retire to the sitting room where you can fire up the woodburning stove and sink back into the plush sofas, as you select a family favourite to watch on TV. Completing the ground-floor is a well-presented double bedroom, served by a handy cloakroom, ideal for those with limited mobility. The National Trust owns the destroyed castle at Corfe Castle in Dorset, which dominates the ancient settlement and civil parish. The settlement sits on the road between Wareham and Swanage, overlooking the Purbeck Hills and providing easy access to both the shore and the countryside. These parts of the Jurassic Coast, as well as Hartland Moor National Nature Reserve and Studland and Godlingston Heath National Nature Reserve, are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts looking to go out and about. Attractions include the Model Village and Gardens and the Purbeck Mineral Mining Museum; the Dorset Adventure Park; The Boilerhouse Gallery; and of course Corfe Castle itself, which dates back to the 11th century. In addition to the Purbeck Big Apple Maize Maze, Swanage's Blue Flag and Seaside Award winning beach offers a variety of activities such as coasteering, abseiling, climbing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and the bay even offers scuba diving for those looking to expand their horizons.
