The beautiful seaside town of Swange is just half a mile away and offers a wide and varied choice of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Explore the coastline from Durlston Country Park or walk eastwards to Studland and the lovely sand dunes. Close by you can take the steam train to Corfe Castle and take a trip back in time at the historic castle ruins with far reaching views.

My family have stayed at 3 Dolphin House a few times and find it a wonderful place to spend a week or two. It’s very roomy, bright and airy with terrific views over Swanage bay. Being so close to the Lifeboat station, it’s really exciting to see the lifeboat going out from the living room window and it’s also great for seal watching ( if you’re lucky!). Our grandchildren love swimming in the sea right outside which makes it ideal for drying them off quickly. A lovely place to make wonderful family memories.
