Resting on the picturesque Jurassic Coast of Dorset, surrounded by the beauty of both the coast and the surrounding National Nature Reserves, 49 Ulwell Road is a beautiful abode to base an action-packed getaway with family or friends.The property has recently undergone an extensive renovation and been fully refurbished to a high standard. The front entrance leads to a bright and airway hallway with lots of space for coats and shoes and welcomes you in to the rest of the property.The large open plan kitchen dining room is sure to be the social hub of your holiday, with a large island looking out onto the outside decking alongside a large dining table, where you can gather to toast to a wonderful holiday, as the chef gets to work with the assistance of the fantastic range of appliances at hand, with plenty of room at the island for little helpers too! Guests will delight at the adjoining games room, where you can find a 7 foot size pool table, large TV and games console providing hours of entertainment, while the adults can sit out on the raised decking area with a celebratory bottle of fizz, listening to the tranquillity of the stream below as the sun begins to set. Guests can also enjoy the large barbecue and the garden backs onto a recreation ground with a children’s play area and dog walking area. Make your way into the study, where you can relax on the chaise lounge with your favourite book with the bookshelf wallpaper as your backdrop, or gather together in the sitting room adjacent to this spot where the woodburning stove roars inviting you in the create precious memories with your loved ones. Also, on the ground floor is a well stocked utility room leading to a mosaic tiled shower room; perfect for washing off any sand after a day at the beach. On the first floor sit the five wonderful bedrooms, the master being a king-size with skylight windows letting in an abundance of natural light, as well as benefiting from its own en-suite bathroom with an impressive, gold freestanding bath accompanied by a separate walk-in shower. The property is ideally located for access to the beach which is less than 10 minutes walk away or for walking to the Old Harry Rocks & Studland or a longer walk to Corfe Castle. The local area of Swanage is an extremely desirable base for a holiday in Dorset, sitting on the Isle of Purbeck, it's best known for its beautiful beaches in walking distance of the property, where you will also find a range of waterside restaurants serving fresh sea food, as well as pubs, cafés and local stores to gather up your own ingredients. Also in the town is a good host of family-friendly attractions, including the historic Swanage Railway providing trips through the countryside taking you beyond the ruins of Corfe Castle, alongside its own enticing museum, an amusement park and plenty of picturesque scenery. Swanage is a family-friendly seaside resty resting on the east of Dorset's Jurassic Coast. Within the town is a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as its glorious golden sands, a stunning, Victorian wooden pier and the historic Swanage Railway. Durlston Country Park makes a great spot for a leisurely stroll, where you can even spot dolphins and enjoy a drink in its delicious café. Near to Studland and Poole Harbour, you won't be short of activity whilst in Swanage.
