The Cabin in Swanage is consistently praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches by the owners. Guests find it cosy and well-equipped, making it an ideal retreat with shops, pubs, and scenic walks within easy reach. While some minor issues with water pressure and bathroom sink placement are noted, these do not detract from the overall positive experience, with many guests eager to return.
Guests consistently describe the cabin as clean and well-maintained, highlighting its tidiness and the care taken by the owners to ensure a comfortable stay.
The location is highly regarded for its proximity to local amenities and the Jurassic Coast, offering a peaceful setting that remains convenient for exploring the area.
The cabin is frequently referred to as cosy and comfortable, with a homely atmosphere that guests appreciate. The only drawback mentioned is the limited space for storage.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the cabin being well-equipped for a stress-free stay. However, points are deducted for the recurring mention of water pressure issues and the impractical bathroom sink.
While guests express gratitude for the extra touches and the welcoming nature of the hosts, there is no specific mention of gifts, and therefore it cannot be confirmed if such gestures are customary.

The cathedral city of Hereford dates back to Saxon times, and with its medieval bridge over the winding River Wye it is the very image of picturesque England. With a mix of buildings from almost every British era, eclectic Hereford is a popular base for those seeking to explore the locale – being ideally placed for accessing the Black and White villages of the region, not to mention the delights of neighbouring Shropshire, Worcestershire and The Cotswolds. Famous as a cider producing town, Hereford is also the home of the Mappa Mundi, the largest and most elaborate pre-15th century map in existence, which resides in the cathedral alongside the famous Chained Library – a collection of over 1500 rare books from as early as the 8th century. Nearby is the half timbered town of Leominster, filled with medieval buildings, often overhanging the street, and also accessible is the natural splendour of Symonds Yat, a rocky outcrop on a 5 mile bend of the River Wye, with spectacular views and the opportunity to spot protected peregrine falcons flying from their nests.
