Sandpiper Chalet in Bridport is a well-furnished and equipped holiday home praised for its superb location and sea views. Guests appreciate the recent renovations and the thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper, though some noted minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The property's tranquil setting and proximity to the beach make it a popular choice for a peaceful getaway.
Most guests found the chalet to be clean and well-presented, though there were a few mentions of specific areas needing more attention, such as under sofa cushions, external windows, and kitchen items. The overall impression remains positive, with cleanliness being satisfactory for most visitors.
The chalet's location is highly praised for its stunning sea views and proximity to the beach, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and coastal walks. The challenging access road was noted, but it does not detract significantly from the overall positive reception of the location.
Guests are generally pleased with the comfort provided by the chalet, mentioning the quality of the beds and the cosy atmosphere. Some suggested additional furniture for convenience, but these are minor compared to the overall comfort experienced during their stays.
The chalet is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, but there are recurring issues with the microwave and dishwasher. Some guests also suggested improvements to the practicality of the crockery and the addition of basic kitchen utensils. The maintenance of certain facilities like the shower and heated towel rail was also brought up.
The chalet's thoughtful touches, such as a welcome hamper and a book on Eype, are well-received by guests, contributing to a pleasant stay. While these gestures are appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are not guaranteed for every visit.

A note in the manual would have been helpful. The property was just as described and as you would hope to find the accommodation. Clean comfortable and of a high standard. An added bonus is the closeness of the sea and view from the patio.

The only thing we wasnât happy with is the cleanliness, very dusty all over, cobwebs on walls, corners of rooms. Cupboard doors need wiping down, skirting boards very dusty. Not sure why a long hair was sellotaped to the inside of a kitchen cupboard?!?! Needs a good clean otherwise a lovely place to stay. I would be having a word with the cleaners they are not doing the job very well. Welcome pack lovely to receive. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful week here (very lucky with the British weather) with so much to see from the doorstep, especially if you have good mobility. Would highly recommend this lovely place. Honestly can't think that anything was missed in Sandpiper chalet, very well equipped and perfect for a family of 4.
