This 18th Century property has been sympathetically decorated and combines old-world charm with a fresh, contemporary finish. The Counting House is set in the vibrant market town of Bridport and offers a superb base for exploring the Jurassic Coast and the West Dorset countryside. An enclosed garden and room for two pets makes this property the perfect place to take your four-legged friends, too!
Enjoy a holiday in beautiful West Bay, with the location of TV series Broadchurch staying in a delightful cottage having such interesting history of originally being a counting house, a fantastic base for your family getaway. The property benefits from four bedrooms and two bathrooms, deceptively spacious living areas, a bespoke kitchen along with the addition of a lovely sun room to enjoy the view outside and a wood burning stove in the lounge for those chillier days. The Counting House has been furnished inside in an eclectic style with lovely antique furniture, many modern features and the fascinating original money safe's in the bedroom. Just 1/2 a mile away you can enjoy the bustle of Bridport, being known for it's foodie scene and art, you can team this with beautiful walks among the famous hills.
