The stunning rolling landscape affords superb walking and cycling both inland and along the coast; enjoy the scenery from Hardy’s monument and wander around the pretty village of Abbotsbury before heading to the subtropical gardens or Abbotsbury Swannery. Weymouth is an excellent day out with a fantastic beach, vibrant huts, the family friendly SEA LIFE Centre and a whole host of pubs, restaurants, and bars to browse. Those fans of the TV series Broadchurch should visit Bridport and West Bay, which were both used as filming locations for the popular BBC drama, and while you here, venture along the scenic coastal path and visit the Hive Beach Café, a wonderful spot for an afternoon bite. We have stayed in both Hebe and Willow. We stayed in Willow this year and returned because of the beautiful setting of the cottages and the way in which Vendela and Simon have presented their holiday homes, which are incredibly dog friendly. The position of the cottages allows for access to lots of interesting places within Dorset. There are also walks available directly from the cottage on well maintained paths, which our dog Pepper really enjoyed. A dog friendly paradise we highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic as always. The property itself is clean, very well kept and well equipped with everything you need. Comfy beds, fluffy towels, good showers! Dog friendly. Set in a quiet location, with walks from the door. The local pub is about a 30 min walk along a footpath; itâs an easy, flat route but take a torch for the night. The pub is definitely worth a visit though. Also a lovely little village store and the petrol station has a couple of COOK freezers if you want to eat in but donât want to cook!
