Guests say

Lyme Views in Lyme Regis is a well-regarded apartment praised for its prime location close to the beach and town, with the added convenience of on-site parking. Guests appreciate the quiet setting, comfortable furnishings, and the well-equipped nature of the property. While some maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests rebooking and enjoying their stays.

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, though a few guests mentioned minor issues such as cobwebs. The overall impression remains that the property is well-kept.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and local amenities, contributing to a very positive experience for guests.

Guests find the beds and seating comfortable, and the property spacious. However, some guests noted issues with a cold bedroom and a lop-sided mattress, slightly affecting the comfort score.

While the property is appreciated for its facilities, including parking and a well-equipped kitchen, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as tricky locks, a noisy fan, and difficulties with heating control.

There is a mention of a welcome bag with local produce, which guests enjoyed. However, as this is a single mention and gifts are not consistently referenced, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness, and guests should not expect such extras as standard.

Great location. Good sized kitchen. Really nice to get a welcome pack with some local produce to enjoy, thank you. Comfy beds & sofas. The travel cot smelt very damp and musty so we couldn’t use it for our 5 month old. Main bedroom & cupboard smelt like it has a slight damp issue - no window in there. Some crumbs on floor & work surfaces when we arrived and we had to clean a lot of the kitchen cutlery/appliances before use, but all was fair as they can’t check everything left from previous users. When we got there the tv remote said low battery and didn’t last long so we went out and brought more batteries for it so we could use tv. Our one year old loved the long hallway running up and down and the building blocks to play with. Great to have two decent bathrooms and useful access for buggies with side entrance. We would recommend and enjoyed our stay. Thank you

. however the lock to the door closest to the allocated parking space is extremely difficult to unlock (with the bronze coloured key) and needs repair/replacement. Such a shame about the driveway (guess nothing can be done there!) and the trees/bushes on the other side of the trellis fence which block the view of the town (guess the adjacent landowners are not amenable to cutting them back!)

We received a generous welcome bag of local produce, which we enjoyed and were extremely grateful for. The property was well equipped for all ages. The shower was great, decent power, which is always a bonus! Our only downside to the stay was the double bed - the mattress seemed lop-sided and a bit too soft for our liking. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. We’d certainly stay again if/when we visit Lyme Regis another time.
