Guests have enjoyed their stays at Oak Tree, praising its stunning views, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable beds. The property's location is appreciated for its proximity to Lyme Regis and the seafront, with a pleasant river walk nearby. The garden and the quiet setting also received positive comments. Some guests mentioned thoughtful touches by the owners, adding to the property's homely feel.
The majority of guests found Oak Tree to be clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about dust and outdoor cleanliness. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.
The location is highly praised for its views and proximity to Lyme Regis and the beach, with a scenic river walk adding to the appeal. However, some guests noted the walk back can be challenging due to steep paths.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, especially the beds and the spaciousness of the property. Some guests, however, felt that the lounge furniture could be more comfortable and that outdoor seating could be improved.
Facilities are considered good, with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms. Some guests suggested the addition of a tumble dryer and mentioned minor maintenance issues with bathroom fixtures.
Several guests mentioned thoughtful gestures such as wine, biscuits, and a welcoming card. While these gifts are appreciated, it's important to note that such personal touches, although delightful, are not guaranteed with every stay.

Ample parking for two vehicles and the property itself is really homely, warm and comfortable and well equipped. A delightful owner too! Around 20 minute walk downhill by the River Lym into Lyme itself but parking in town for those preferring to drive. Lyme has everything- a glorious bay, spotless beach , shops and eateries - a perfect base from which to explore the stunning coastline or simply drop anchor and relax.

The house is ideal for our 3 generational group, the weather was lovely and we all had a relaxing stay. It is nice thar the owners are available for any questions. The only negative we had was that both the bins outside were overflowing and obviously had not been put out by previous guests as requested. There was also dogs mess in the garden.
Angela
.beds were very comfortable kitchen had lots of equipment only issues were the dustbins were already full from previous guests we only used the property as a base as the walk back from the beach was way too much for us overall lovely holiday
