Radium is praised for its superb location in Lyme Regis, with easy access to local amenities and the beach. Guests appreciate the property's practical layout and the warmth it provides. While some guests have found the property to be clean and tidy, others have raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Comfort levels are mixed, with some finding the property cosy and others noting discomfort with the furnishings. The lack of WiFi and issues with dampness have been mentioned. A welcome pack of goodies is a thoughtful touch, though it's not guaranteed for every stay.
Reviews on cleanliness are mixed, with some guests satisfied, while others reported the property as dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning. Issues such as dog hair, damp rugs, and a musty smell have been noted, affecting the overall perception of cleanliness.
The location is consistently highlighted as excellent, with the property being central and within a stone's throw from the beach, shops, and eateries. The convenience of the location is a standout feature in the reviews.
Comfort receives a moderate score as guests have mixed feelings. Some found the property cosy and the bed comfortable, while others criticised the hard sofa, lack of cushions, and noise disturbances. The presence of a high chair is a plus for those with children.
Facilities and maintenance are areas of concern, with several guests mentioning dampness, a musty smell, and a need for decorating and TLC. The lack of WiFi and issues with heating controls have also been highlighted. However, some guests are satisfied with the kitchen and shower facilities.
The provision of a welcome pack with tea, milk, and biscuits is a thoughtful gesture that guests appreciated. However, as not all reviews mention such gifts, and to ensure expectations are managed, it's noted that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

The only downside is the access to the parking, more so if you have a large vehicle. But a smaller vehicle not too bad with caution. Everything is on the doorstep, with plenty of things to do. This was our second stay, hopefully in the future, will stay again.

However the parking is an issue and whilst the site states that the access to the parking is "tight", that is an under statement. I could not access with my car, (Mercedes C250) which isn't huge but nearly got stuck. I did raise this, as a I had to then pay £30 to park somewhere else . The answer I got back was very poor in all honesty, which is very frustrating and poor customer service. I also could not control the heating. It was on a timer but no instructions on how to override. Needs looking at.

The goody bag was a nice touch as after a 4 hour drive we welcomed a cuppa, so the teabags, milk and biscuits provided was welcomed. The shower is great, very powerful and lots of hot water. The bed is comfy. Dogs are permitted. The negatives - Overwhelming smell of damp. Mold growing on the straps of the fire blanket. Sofa bed very uncomfortable, ended up sitting on the floor. Bedroom wall runs with condensation which meant if you brushed against the wall paint came off on clothing. Most of the sockets don't work. Rust on dishwasher and door lock. Noise of people upstairs could be heard if they were walking about, using the washing machine etc. Holiday website mentions a garden - this is not the case, the outside space is a carpark. Was not advised that there would be scaffolding around the property or that they would be arriving early to dismantle this. No mention that there the road to the property would be blocked off due to maintenance work. No mention that the property is next to a cinema and patrons have to walk passed the windows and front door to use the cinema toilets. The property is very much in need of some TLC as very tired looking, plaster coming of the walls, moldy and damp. Sad to say that we will not be booking this accommodation again. Have taken photos of comments mentioned if you wish to view these. Felt that we were over charged for the condition of the accommodation.
