Guests say

Rooftops is a well-received apartment in Lyme Regis, praised for its superb location, stunning views, and generous welcome pack. Guests appreciate the property's spaciousness, cleanliness, and the personal touches that make it feel homely. While some minor issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The apartment generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, with guests finding it clean upon arrival. There was a single mention of an unemptied bin, but this appears to be an isolated incident rather than a trend.

The location is highly praised for its convenience, proximity to shops, seafront, and local amenities. The views and ease of access to the town's attractions are frequently mentioned as highlights.

Guests find the apartment comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and the spacious, airy feel of the property. However, some guests noted issues with mattresses and light blinds affecting sleep quality.

Facilities are generally good, with useful items for beach activities provided. However, there are repeated mentions of issues with heating and hot water, and some furniture is described as shabby or in need of an upgrade.

The welcome pack is frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while a delightful surprise, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The wonderful cafes, bars, restaurants and an array of bakeries and cake shops are on your doorstep. It is so easy to fall out of bed and wonder down to the pretty town beach and take a stroll before enjoying breakfast in one of the excellent and friendly beach-side cafes. The price you pay for this location is that you get the not un-expected noise of the busy town. However, you only have to go up to the master bedroom to have peace and quiet and enjoy the clear views of the sea and the Cobb harbour. from the rear window. The main bedroom has an extremely comfortable king-size bed (not advertised as such incidentally) and is a very relaxing space. The owner and agents are very helpful and understanding and on the last day when painters arrived to refurbish the exterior we were generously compensated for the minor inconvenience.

The 4 of us, plus Ziggy the dog, highly recommend this place for a holiday!

Just a few things to consider if you're staying here: - The blinds are privacy blinds and don't block out any light, so if you like to sleep in darkness I would bring some stick on blackout blinds - The seagulls are very loud, so bring some earplugs - It's very spacious and lots of room to put your beach stuff, there is even some stuff there already for you to use! e.g. Boadboards and Beach Matts - The parking is super handy and only just around the corner, a real plus! - Everything else is good but could do with a bit of an upgrade here and there. Things like the sofas are a bit shabby and some of the dinning room furniture is old and a bit damaged
