Sea Fever in Lyme Regis is praised for its stunning views, comfortable furnishings, and prime location. Guests enjoy the window seat and proximity to local attractions. While the bathroom size and maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The apartment is generally described as clean and well-kept, with some minor observations of overlooked areas. Housekeeping is mentioned to have missed some crockery and window cleanliness, but overall, the standard of cleanliness is high.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, pubs, and restaurants, with stunning views of Lyme Bay. The convenience of the location is a highlight for many guests.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the apartment cosy, with a relaxing vibe. Some guests mention a preference for larger beds and note the sofas starting to sag, but overall comfort is rated well.

However I would like to draw your attention to the following: - there is no shelf in the bathroom, either above the basin or in the shower. So, nowhere to put toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, shaving equipment, shower gels etc. We had to resort to brushing teeth in the kitchen! Hardly appropriate in a property rated as outstanding. We see from the guest book that this issue has been regularly raised by guests over a number of years. With the use of IKEA, which has been the source of other items in the flat, this could be remedied at little expense. - the instructions for turning off the fire alarm if accidentally triggered are completely out of date and therefore inaccurate. For instance the control box has apparently been moved. Up to date instructions should be provided. - lastly, a small but irritating issue, only 4 teaspoons are provided in a flat which sleeps 4!

Location is perfect and the flat is well equipped. Plenty of room for a travel cot so not sure why it says there isnât on the website. Just a few things that need addressing: - Kitchen tap kept dripping - Shower was very hot and we couldnât seem to turn the tap enough to make it colder. - windows could do with a clean - a shelf in the bathroom would help to store toothbrushes etc

The seating is comfortable (although the window seat could do with a long cushion), the kitchen well equipped and the location fantastic. However, the place cries out for more storage aids. The coat hooks were hanging off the wall and unusable and the loo seat was the only surface on which to put toiletries when using the minute basin. A shelf above the basin would make a big difference. Some of the crockery was grubby when we arrived - dried coffee drips and rings on three of the mugs, dried food on two plates and crusty cutlery. It looked as though guests had put them away after a hasty hand rinse and they hadn't been checked by housekeeping. There were crumbs from previous guests on the window seat and the windows were smeared with bird droppings.
