Resting in a superb location a short distance from Lyme Regis’s picturesque Cobb Harbour, Seagull’s Nest is a good-sized and well-presented apartment which is arranged over two floors. The ideal location for a family holiday or families travelling together, the apartment has all the space and facilities you could possibly need to ensure you have a relaxing and memorable stay. On entering the apartment, visitors are greeted by a light and airy, open-plan living space which has a delightful seating area boasting spectacular views over Cobb Harbour and beyond. This segues into the kitchen and dining area which is set up for everything you need to rustle up some delicious food for your family with an elegant dining area providing an excellent space for dining, drinking and enjoying each other’s company. This is a truly sociable space ideal for entertaining friends and loved ones. If you want an alternative area for getting away from it all then upstairs on the second-floor is a second sitting room set up for chilling out and relaxing, with an extensive sitting area, a TV and more fabulous sea views. If you want to get up close and personal to those sea views then step outside to the attractive communal courtyard which has a seating area, perfect for taking in those all-important views and enjoying some time alfresco. When sleep calls, take your pick from any of the four stylishly presented bedrooms; the first-floor double bedroom with its fantastic views, an additional second-floor double plus a twin and a cool children’s bunk bedroom. Whatever combination of guests are in your party the perfect bedroom awaits! After a refreshing night’s sleep, you’ll be wanting to get out and about exploring and there is no shortage of great things to do in and around Lyme Regis. Within walking distance of the apartment is the wonderful Cobb Harbour and Causeway with the town itself only a little further on which has a great selection of shops, bars, boutiques, cafes and restaurants as well as a museum and an aquarium. Other towns worth visiting and just a short but scenic drive include Branscombe, Weymouth, Dorchester and Bournemouth. Take a trip to Seaton with its famous tramway which takes you on a beautifully scenic journey along the coast to Colyton or visit one of the many family attractions in the area including Tunnel Tree Tops high ropes and zip wire, Pecorama, Axe Valley Wildlife Park, Jurassic Fun Centre and Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind.
