Situated in the grounds of the Abbey, the views are wonderful and you are local to many amenities. The flat is on the 1st floor and is well equipped, clean and comfortable. One point of note is that bell ringing practice for the Abbey is on Tuesday evenings for an hour or so, so if you're sensitive to sound then it can be a good idea to fit in dinner at one of the local restaurants during this time. You will need to park your car about a 4 minute walk away in a long stay car park but for unloading and loading at either end of our stay we could park within 50m of the front door for a short while. It is a little gem in a wonderful town.

Parking is a slight problem but not unexpected in view of the location.

One bed had not been made up ( but we agreed to do that) . Bin in the kitchen not empty, dishwasher full of crockery. 2 bowls of rotting grapes in the fridge. The freezer compartment is very dirty and has obviously not been cleaned for ages. One toilet unclean. Used towel left in one bathroom. Old hairbrush and dirty sock found under one bed. I don’t think the flat had been cleaned AT ALL since the previous occupant. At £200 a night, this is very poor, indeed at any price. Will not be staying there again.
