Siesta Chalet is in the perfect location where countryside meets the sea and has stunning views from the property.
Located in a quite remote location with only thirteen chalets at the village of Eype, it will allow couples or families to relax and unwind.
The property is all ground-floor with two bedrooms and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area overlooking the wonderful Dorset coast and rolling hills.
Only few minutes’ away is gorgeous pebble and sand beach with stunning cliffs. One of them is the tallest South coast cliff reaching 191m above the sea – the views are stunning from the top. You may want to take a walk to Lyme Regis or Charmouth and look for some fossils.
The village of Eype is very well-maintained and is very looked after by the ramblers and those who love outdoor adventures. It has a pub, serving delicious traditional meals and tasty drinks. Seasonal shop is open as well, but if you need a bigger shopping, only a short drive away is the market town of Bridport with array of shops, farmers market, restaurants, cafes and more.
The South West coast path is right at your doorstep, so you may wish to explore the World Heritage coast of Dorset. After a day exploring the area, the property offers a perfect patio where you can watch the sunset and plan the next day.
Siesta Chalet is a superb holiday home for those who wish to relax far away from the bustling towns and be close to the sea.
Eype sits on some of the most dramatic Jurassic Coastline, and famously features one of ITV’s series Broadchurch’s. The beach at Eype is a steeply shelving pebble beach that is dog friendly all year round and just 3 miles from Bridport and 4 from West Bay, where many other Broadchurch locations can be viewed, as well enjoying local fish and chips on the harbour side and ice creams on the sea front. Bridport offers all the high street amenities you will need along with a much-coveted antiques and collectables market. Golden Cap, the highest point in Dorset, sits on the South West Coast path and is just 4 miles from Eype, although it’s the highest point there are moderate routes to walk to the top, where spectacular far reaching views along the coast will be your reward.
