Unicorn is situated on the Isle of Portland, within sight and sound of the acclaimed Chesil Beach. A traditional style terraced house, with glimpses of the sea and recently refurbished by the current owners, this charming holiday cottage has a sunny kitchen / breakfast room and views up to the Olympic Rings on the top of Portland. Leaving the cottage, walk through the lanes down to the beach and here you may choose to fish, beachcomb or just enjoy the wonderful scenery. Sunsets from Chesil beach are often spectacular and not to be missed. Having viewed a glorious sunset then why not try The Cove House Inn or Quiddles, recommended by previous guests for dining, and nestled next to the Chesil beach. Just a short walk away from Unicorn are a supermarket, pubs and shops and around a 15 minute walk away is The National Sailing Academy, making Unicorn a perfect base for water sports enthusiasts. To explore Portland take the South West Coastal Path which leads you all around the exterior of the island taking in the rugged landscape, old quarries and famous Portland Bill Lighthouse. The nearby town of Weymouth, just a short bus or car journey away welcomes guests with a long and sandy beach, traditional beach entertainments and a vibrant town centre
