Brewers Quay is the old Victorian brewery situated at the heart of the harbour, in Weymouth, Dorset. Much of the grade II listed complex and surrounding brewery buildings date from the late 1800 early 1900’s and many have stones inlaid commemorating their construction year. This area is now a popular destination with many restaurants, café and bars, creating a vibrant culture, where you can relax with a drink and watch the world go by. Tucked away down the harbourside streets, you will find original Tudor harbour buildings, estimated to have been built in 1600 and well worth a visit, with a very interesting history to share. You will also find the Weymouth Museum, with some incredible exhibitions, and the harbour is also home to the lifting bridge, where you can watch the luxury yachts head out to sea, and then walk over the bridge to the town's winding streets of boutique shops and the seafront esplanade and beach. We arrived in the dark and the owners had kindly left some lights and the heating on for us. All the rooms are decorated to a high standard and are very comfortable. Lovely views over the harbour and further in to Weymouth. The kitchen is really well equipped and the bathroom was lovely and light with a great shower. We will definitely be returning in the summer months and will make use of the garden also.

The owners have gone above and beyond with decorating the place. It is truly beautiful and inspiring with the decor. There was everything there to make our stay comfortable including a lovely basket of goodies. I met Jane when we arrived there early and she was a very welcoming and helpful lady. The situation of the cottage is very close to the town with just a few steps and a ramp up to it. Parking near to the cottage is not possible but we found a space nearby on the roadside a short walk away.

The cottage has been kitted out to a very high spec while still being true to its original character. There was a lovely welcome pack including doggy treats and a high chair available for our little one. The kitchen has everything you could need with a fabulous range. Bathroom and shower were great. Beds were very comfortable and spacious. Woodburning stove kept us nice and cosy too. Access was easy via parking a mins walk away and the views over the harbour are spectacular. Lovely pubs, restaurants and beach all withing a 5-10 min walk. The whole property was spotless on arrival and Jane was very responsive to a question I had. I couldn't recommend the place highly enough.
