Guests say

Emminster Lodge in Weymouth offers a comfortable and peaceful stay in a lovely quiet setting. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness and accurate description. While some guests have noted areas for improvement in facilities and maintenance, the lodge's overall charm and tranquillity are well-regarded.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that guests are satisfied with.

There is insufficient information to accurately assess the location as reviews do not provide enough detail on the property's surroundings or proximity to local amenities.

The property is generally considered comfortable, though some guests have mentioned issues with the size of the cottage and the positioning of furniture, which could affect overall comfort.

Facilities are well-equipped but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a dripping tap, stiff water tap, and lack of bannisters for elderly guests. The absence of a garden as described also detracts from the facilities score.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts, so this category cannot be scored.

The description of the property and location is very accurate. It’s beautiful peaceful but note the cautions about there being no shops or pub in Nottington.

It’s ok if you just want a shower and bed we won’t be back again

No chain on the plug in the bathroom wash basin and the cold water tap was stiff and difficult to turn off, hence dripping tap. No undercupboard stairs in Emminster, so no cleaner. Coasters to place hot drinks on should be provided. Two main concerns: 1. Directions were poor, Harbour Hill not signposted. Suggest the following: "If pass the hexagon house on your right, go over bridge and turn left, sign posted Chickerill" "Wey Meadow stables on your left". 2. Being elderly I need bannisters to go upstairs. The bannisters on the right hand side were restricted half way up when there was no room to hold on between the bannister and the wall. I suggest a bannister on the left hand side also.
