In a spectacular location, Gordon's View is a beautifully presented detached cottage in Pleasant Stile, close to the charming village of Newnham-on-Severn and the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean. This Gloucestershire cottage offers elegantly furnished accommodation including a comfortable double bedroom, a snug with a double sofa bed and a warm and welcoming sitting room with cosy woodburning stove, ideal for curling up as you enjoy the views. Outside this Gloucestershire cottage are a small front garden and a rear cottage garden with elevated decked area, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views with a refreshing drink. The thriving village of Newnham-on-Severn is just a 20 minute walk away; sitting on the banks of the River Severn it offers traditional inns, individual shops selling local crafts, antiques and books as well as a village store and pharmacy. Just a short distance from this charming Gloucestershire cottage are the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley where you can enjoy long lazy days exploring on your bike, on foot or on horseback. Visit the nearby city of Gloucester, or venture along the banks of the River Severn, or even over the border into Wales. This lovely location is ideal for a country cottage holiday.
Pleasant Stile is a lovely hamlet on the edge of the Royal Forest of Dean, and is just a short drive from Gloucester.
