Kensley Lodge is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cosy atmosphere, ideal location within the forest, and the added luxury of a hot tub. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the warmth provided by underfloor heating, and the proximity to local attractions and walks. While some noted the space is snug for larger groups and minor maintenance issues, the overall experience is highly regarded, with special mentions of the helpful staff.
Guests consistently note the property as very clean, with particular praise for the hot tub's maintenance. There are a few mentions of areas that could benefit from a refresh, but these are minor and do not detract from the overall positive feedback on cleanliness.
The lodge's location is frequently highlighted as fantastic, offering seclusion, direct access to forest walks, and proximity to local attractions. It is considered ideal for both relaxation and exploration, contributing to a highly positive experience.
The lodge is described as cosy and comfortable, particularly for groups of up to four. Some guests find the space and furnishings a bit tight for larger parties, and there are comments about the need for updating lounge furniture, which slightly impacts the comfort score.
Facilities like the hot tub are a hit, but there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a broken blind, a leak under the sink, and dated furniture. These points suggest room for improvement in the facilities and maintenance category.
