Originating directly from the Old Norse word for ‘long bay’, Longhope’s main draw is its tranquil surroundings. Set in its own peaceful seclusion; you can tour the island and visit the impressively restored lifeboat museum that offers rich history on WWI and wwii or relish a hearty meal and cold beverage at one of several pubs on offer.
