The property is well-positioned for local attractions and provides a relaxing holiday experience, with many guests enjoying the fishing opportunities. The lodge is generally well-equipped and maintained, though some minor issues were noted.

The lodge received compliments for being clean and well-presented, but some guests mentioned finding cobwebs and a washer dryer that required cleaning. These appear to be isolated incidents rather than a common trend.

The location is highly regarded for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions, with easy access to beaches and towns like Bath and Bristol. However, some guests mentioned unreliable public transport and expensive taxis.

Guests found the lodge comfortable, with a cosy atmosphere and good amenities. However, there were comments about the size of the beds and the lack of a DVD player, which slightly affected the comfort level for some.

The lodge is well-equipped, with guests appreciating the amenities provided. Nonetheless, there were mentions of a broken shower head, a missing parasol, and a locked safe. These points suggest room for improvement in maintenance.

Couldn't have asked for a better setting . The lodge was very comfortable and tastefully furnished, the only thing I would ask is if maybe the shower head in main bathroom could be replaced. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the fishing and what a surprise to see the deers wandering past our lodge. The two families of geese were adorable . ( just remember your wellies) Having only 4lodges on the site makes it a more friendly and relaxing holiday. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Also cleaning wasn’t to the highest standard we found multiple cobwebs even at love levels like the kitchen knife sett on counter and the washer dryer hadn’t been cleaned in what looked like months We had to scrub it to get clean and run a cleaner through to ensure it was clean before putting cloths into wash
