Clover Cottage in Devon is highly praised for its great location, cosy atmosphere, and well-equipped facilities. Guests enjoyed the beautiful views, gardens, and proximity to local attractions. Some mentioned the cottage's charm and cleanliness, while others appreciated the thoughtful touches like welcome gifts. A few noted challenges with steep stairs and comfort of the furniture.
Most guests found Clover Cottage to be immaculately clean and well-presented. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as a dirty BBQ and smelly rugs, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with beautiful views, access to the SW coastal path, and proximity to Plymouth and local amenities. The ongoing construction work mentioned by one guest does not seem to be a common concern.
The majority of guests found the cottage comfortable, particularly praising the bed. Some guests, however, found the spiral staircase challenging and the seating in the living area less comfortable for longer periods.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being well-equipped and maintained. Some guests suggested improvements such as additional storage and a proper shower. The mention of ongoing construction and overgrown gardens by a few guests indicates room for improvement.
Guests often mentioned thoughtful touches like welcome champagne, biscuits, and flowers, which contributed to a pleasant stay. While these gifts are appreciated, it's important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.
