Guests say

Goldings is a well-received holiday cottage in Wells, Somerset, praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and comfortable setting. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like a welcome tray with tea and cake. The garden is a hit with both children and pets, and the property's proximity to local attractions makes it an ideal base for exploring. While some guests missed having WiFi, the lack of it encouraged family bonding. Overall, the property offers a homely atmosphere and a delightful stay.

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with numerous guests describing it as spotless and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Guests are very pleased with the property's location, finding it quiet and peaceful, yet conveniently central for sightseeing and within walking distance to Wells Cathedral and local amenities.

The bungalow is frequently described as cosy, comfortable, and spacious, with a nice garden and a warm atmosphere. However, a few guests mentioned the beds could be improved, slightly impacting the comfort score.

Facilities are generally well-received, with particular appreciation for the garden and key safe. Criticisms include the lack of WiFi and some dated appliances, which suggests room for improvement in this category.

The owner's thoughtfulness is highlighted by many guests, who loved the welcoming touches such as cake and tea. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, they are a delightful bonus rather than a standard provision.

The bungalow is very cosy and situated very close to Wells and surrounding attractions. We have already booked our next stay.

A little bungalow which was compact and bijou. Sue the landlady visited us in person to ensure we were ok. We were given a welcome pack which included Tea and coffee, and a very welcome cake! All much appreciated after a long and tiring journey. Would definitely reccommend.

    G. the welcome tray and the full instructions. Would we stay there again? Yes please. Would have been 5 star review except the tumble dryer had been disconnected; there were pegs but no washing line or rotary dryer to dry clothes - we had wanted to refresh our dirty towels half way through the week but no point if we couldn't dry them. We resorted to airing them every day in the lounge on the folding airer.
