Magnolia Barn in Somerset is highly praised for its cleanliness, tranquil setting, and dog-friendly amenities. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and the added bonus of a paddock for dog walking. The property's location is ideal for exploring local attractions, with easy access to pubs and shops. While some minor maintenance issues and additional kitchen equipment are suggested, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment in a beautiful cottage.
Guests consistently note the property's exceptional cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting this aspect positively. The property is described as 'spotlessly clean' and 'very clean', indicating a high standard of hygiene and upkeep.
The location is frequently commended for its convenience and proximity to local attractions, pubs, and shops. The setting is described as quiet and ideal for nature lovers, with easy access to Somerset's highlights. However, some guests noted difficulty with visibility when exiting the property due to hedges.
Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the beds and sofa cosy. The presence of a paddock and a sunny courtyard adds to the comfort. Some guests, however, mentioned that the living room could be snug for four adults and suggested that additional or more comfortable seating could enhance the experience.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. However, some guests suggested improvements such as better kitchen equipment, larger TVs, and clearer instructions for heating. The presence of a paddock for dogs is a notable facility that is much appreciated.
While guests have mentioned some nice touches upon arrival, such as milk in the fridge and tea/coffee, there is insufficient information to determine a consistent level of thoughtfulness in terms of gifts or special amenities. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Also great to have access to the field at the back to exercise doggies. The only drawback is the outdated/size of the tv in the lounge (too small) and not having one in the bedroom. Also having access to sky, netflicks or movies for days when the weather is bad would add to this accomodation and made us not leave the property a day early.

Disappointed upon arrival but a lovely cottage. The settee and chair dated and uncomfortable similar problen with the beds...The en suite was a nightmare to have a shower as minimal space to access the bath. Other issues just want be booking again......

Some nice touches with milk in the fridge & tea/coffee available when we arrived. Plenty of information about the property & surroundings with lots of âto doâ leaflets to help us plan our days. The field to exercise the dog was a godsend as was the information about the walking routes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.
