Use of hotels leisure facilities was an unexpected bonus. Gorgeous setting in ever so quiet south Somerset, the land that time forgot. Looking forward to visiting again.

I am disabled and it was perfect for me on my crutches and walking frame . My wife used the pool which was quiet and perfect for her . The gentleman in reception (might have been Steve ) was very helpful and helped us with our cases when he saw my disability . Only comment the M5 chaos on a Friday would prefer to stop Monday to Monday . Gravel path up to the Lodge could do with some more fine grit , for me anyway.
