Reviews consistently mention that the cottage is clean and tidy, indicating high standards of cleanliness that contribute positively to guests' experiences.

The location is described as peaceful, with great views and convenient access to local attractions. Some guests mention the need for a car to reach nearby Somerton, but the tranquility and wildlife sightings are seen as major pluses.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, warm, and cosy, with a secure courtyard and a paddock for dogs. Some concerns about shower size and winter insulation are noted, but overall, comfort levels are high.

The cottage is well-equipped for a relaxing holiday, with a few guests suggesting improvements such as stronger Wi-Fi and additional kitchen storage. The presence of a secure field for dog walking is frequently appreciated.

Hosts Myles and Sue are commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly for the welcome packs provided to guests and their pets. While these gestures are highly valued, it is politely noted that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

It is in a wonderful setting and just so quiet . The accommodation is large with a wonderful back garden for sitting out in on a night. You also get sole use of a huge secure paddock just opposite the cottage for your dog to run around in which also has a table and chairs in it for you to sit and watch the wonderful wildlife ( lots of deer in the nearby fields at dusk and early morning) It is situated near the village of Somerton which has lovely pubs and great bell ringing on a Sunday. The Village of Street ( 10 mins away by car ) has a Clark’s Village which has every outlet of designer shop you can imagine in it and everything is at a reduced price plus it was very quite. We also went to Lyme Regis which was only a 45 min drive away and what a beautiful seaside village it is . Sue was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble and she left us a wonderful welcome pack which also included treats for our dog. The barn is very dog friendly. We will be back
