Great Bradley Cottage is highly praised for its idyllic location, cosy atmosphere, and friendly host. Guests enjoy the proximity to nature, with opportunities for walks and wildlife sightings. The indoor swimming pool is a standout feature, offering relaxation and privacy. While most find the cottage comfortable and well-equipped, some suggest improvements in cleanliness and modern amenities like mattresses and TVs.
The cottage generally appears to be well-received in terms of tidiness. However, a few guests have noted areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as kitchen appliances and bathrooms. These comments suggest that while the overall standard is good, there is room for more thorough cleaning.
The location is consistently lauded for its tranquillity and natural beauty. Guests appreciate the peaceful surroundings, the presence of wildlife, and the easy access to walking trails and local attractions. The rural setting on a working farm adds to the charm and appeal of the cottage's location.
Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the beds snug. However, some guests mention that the mattresses could be more modern and to their personal preference. The open fire and warm atmosphere contribute positively to the comfort of the cottage.
Facilities are generally praised, especially the indoor swimming pool, which is a highlight for many guests. The well-equipped kitchen and the presence of an open fire are also appreciated. Some guests suggest updating the TV and improving the Wi-Fi connection, indicating that while facilities are good, there is potential for enhancement.
The host's thoughtfulness is evident in the welcoming touches such as cakes, wine, and treats for both guests and dogs. These gestures are warmly received, although it should be noted that such gifts are given at the host's discretion and may not be a consistent offering for all stays.
