Located on the grounds of the owner’s farm, this delightful detached cottage can be found in the stunning region of Exmoor National Park, offering fantastic walking routes and opportunities to nature spot, this cottage is the perfect property for a walking holiday with family or friends. Use of large, heated, indoor swimming pool by arrangement with the owners. You will instantly be filled with joy as you enter the cottage into a brilliantly bright kitchen/diner, with yellow tiles and a vibrant Rayburn cooker to match, this room is a spacious area ideal for home cooking and enjoying your morning coffee, fit with a farmhouse table to add to the traditional character of the property. Off the sunny kitchen and dining area, head up three stairs and into the sitting room, with a snug open fire, gather here in the winter months with a hot chocolate and a book to enjoy the true tranquillity of the property, or in the summer months the back garden makes a great spot for unwinding on the patio while the dogs run around on the expansive lawns. Upstairs you can find the two bedrooms, with the master bedroom up three stairs from the second floor, these rooms offer ultimate privacy as well as being beautifully furnished, with traditional wooden doors and a timber frame rooftop, there’s no better place to enjoy the stunning views of the countryside.The outside area is the perfect place for an animal lover, with horse stables and kennels, feel free to bring your own furry friends along to enjoy the holiday with you, with a bridleway and wonderful walking routes at the back of the property. Withypool is a fantastic village, located on the banks of the River Barle and surrounded by open moorland it makes the perfect place for a walking holiday. the local area is quiet and quaint, with just a small local shop and tea rooms, it's a very peaceful area. In the village you can also find the wonderful North Devon Hawk Walks, the best place in the area for bird watching and nature spotting, as well as the walk of Two Moors Way passing through the village. You can also find the coast fairly nearby, making for a fabulous family day out; there's something here for everyone in this village in the heart of Devon.

Th cottage is beautiful and it was nice to have a swim. The owner Nicky is a lovely lady and we enjoyed meeting her and her pooches. Lots of amazing walks and beaches. Thanks again for our stay!

There are beautiful walking trails straight from the door and the indoor pool was a great hit with all the family, especially when the weather wasn't so good.
