The location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and suitability for walks, although some guests find the access road tricky and the lack of village amenities slightly inconvenient.
While the beds are frequently mentioned as cosy and comfortable, several guests find the seating in the living area to be less comfortable, affecting the overall comfort score.
The cottage is generally well-equipped, with a good shower and basic facilities. However, some guests mention the lack of a freezer and suggest minor additions to the kitchenware, indicating room for improvement.

With parking for up to two cars, the cottage is a short drive or longer stroll away from the beach and with plenty of home comforts, makes a wonderful choice for families, friends, or couples looking for a tranquil escape. After finding the off-road parking, prepare to step into your new home away from home. Through the front door, you will find a welcoming open-plan space that will be sure to delight all who enter. The warmth of the woodburning stove will keep you toasty on chilly winter nights, while the AGA in the corner of the room will be sure to inspire the chef of the group to create something special. There are lovely walks from the village, over the deer park to Dunster, and through farmland to the beach. The village is less than 4 miles from the popular seaside resort of Minehead, which occupies a wonderful sheltered spot beneath the dramatic North Hill, on the lovely West Somerset coast.
