First Floor:
Living room: With 49" TV.. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Nestled in between the rolling hills of Exmoor, yet close to the coast, The Ship Bungalow has everything you need for that blissful break you deserve. Accommodating up to six people, you and your loved ones can enjoy the chalet designed, split level accommodation where on the first floor you can admire the sea view, looking to the Bristol Channel and Wales beyond. The open plan layout gives a bright and spacious feel, allowing you to kick back and relax with a glass of wine after a day exploring your new surroundings.
Enjoy a short stroll around Porlock Village where you can admire the quaint cottages and treat yourself to a cream tea, a classic ‘West Country,’ pastime. On your doorstep is a pub, where in the summer months you can enjoy a drink soaking up the sunshine in the outdoor seating areas. Furthermore, in the winter months, you can cosy up by the roaring log fires and tuck into a roast dinner after rambling across the Moor.
Within a short drive are the quaint Victorian villages of Lynton and Lynmouth to the west and the bustling holiday town of Minehead to the east. For those culturally inclined, you can visit the Dovery Manor Museum containing a wealth of information relating to local history. There are two churches on the high street, Porlock Methodist Church and St. Dubricius Church, dedicated to the 7th Century Welsh Saint, said to have crowned King Arthur.
