Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like homemade scones and the property's dog-friendly approach. Its location is ideal for exploring the local area, with easy access to walks and the harbour. The cottage offers a comfortable and homely stay, with a well-equipped kitchen and a cosy patio garden. Reviewers consistently mention the immaculate condition of the property, highlighting its spotlessness and well-maintained appearance. The attention to cleanliness is evident and greatly appreciated by guests.

The property's location is frequently commended for its proximity to local attractions, harbour, and countryside walks. However, a few guests noted the steep walk from the town and the Wi-Fi signal issues, which slightly impacted the location score.

Guests find the cottage to be a comfortable and homely retreat, with a warm atmosphere and cosy furnishings. The only minor drawback mentioned is the preference for a larger bed by some guests.

The property is well-equipped with high-quality facilities and ample equipment for guests' needs. The mention of weak Wi-Fi signal is the only notable concern, which suggests room for improvement in this area.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through the provision of welcome treats like scones, jam, and cream, as well as dog treats. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is politely noted that such gifts are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

All the facilities required to make it a home from home stay with plenty of places to visit nearby and good dog walks on your doorstep. We had a brilliant stay and apart from a rather steep walk back from town for oldies cannot recommend it enough.

The homemade scones, jam and cream on arrival were the perfect welcome after a summer Saturday on the M5. Some great dog walks on the doorstep, avoiding the roads. It was Summertime week in town while we were there so there was a lot going on, with craft and market stalls every day, live music, and outdoor cinema on the Quay on one evening. We enjoyed walking by the harbour at night and being able to take our fish and chips into the local bars, and enjoying the live music and local ciders. A very relaxing week.

Cleanliness was spot on. Our only disappointment were the mattresses, in one of the bedrooms there was a single and double bed. They were very lumpy and you could actually feel the springs on the double one. The other bedroom with just a double bed was ok. The property is situated at the top of a steep hill, which would perhaps limit some people from walking to and from the town. I think this should be mentioned in the description.
