A cosy ground floor apartment, Barn End is an ideal couples romantic retreat. Situated at Woodcock Farm with its 36 acres sitting on an Iron Age hill fort, guests can enjoy the farm if they wish, along with easy access to wonderful walks and all the South Cotswolds has to offer.
Barn End is a stylish one bedroom ground floor apartment, enjoying a rural outlook through the large glass doors to the main gardens of Woodcock Farm.
The open-plan living space features a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, as well as a cosy sitting area with seating wrapped around the wood burning stove in front of the Smart television, ideal for relaxing at the end of a day exploring the Cotswolds. The bedroom features a comfy king-size bed, and the large bathroom boasts a free-standing bath and separate walk-in shower.
Guests have access to the shared covered barbecue area, communal gardens and of course are invited to walk around the farm and enjoy the animals. Situated on Woodcock Farm's 36 acres of grazing, meadows and woodland, Barn End is surrounded by the rural beauty of the Cotswolds, with ample walks from the doorstep, indeed The Cotswolds Way National Trail crosses right over the land!
Woodcock Farm prides itself on the maintenance of the wonderful Iron Age hill fort it sits on; running the farm to the most sustainable and environmentally friendly way possible; and meeting the highest standards of animal welfare and support of rare and traditional breeds. PV solar panels on the barn roofs produce the majority of electricity used.
A short drive away you will find the small market town of Chipping Sodbury with its stunning, unusually wide main street and a variety of independent shops and eateries including traditional butchers, artisan bakers and greengrocers.
