A charming and traditional cottage, close to the delights of Paignton.
Escape to the seaside with your other half or small family plus one canine companion and stay in this charming coastal-themed cottage. The classic Devon harbour town of Paignton has a friendly and lively atmosphere with plenty of amenities and attractions for all the family. If you’d like a day of peace and tranquillity, there are beaches, lakes, woodlands and gardens all within 2 miles. After a busy day of exploring, enjoy a homecooked meal at the dining table or relax with a glass of wine in the garden.
Inside the property is a homely and comfortable lounge with loving attention to detail where you can sit on the Ercol sofa or one of the armchairs in front of the TV. Continue into the dining room, which is an intimate space with a table and four chairs. The kitchen is compact with bright and cheerful colours and plenty of natural light streaming in through the sash window. Climb the stairs to reach the lovely family bathroom and two bedrooms – a double with an en-suite and a twin room. Outside, relax in the small gravel courtyard with garden furniture.
The property is located in the small residential area of Roundham, just 0.5 miles from the centre of Paignton, where you’ll find seafood restaurants, dog-friendly pubs and cafes as well as plenty of shops. Less than 500 metres away is Fairy Cove, which is perfect for a morning dip. Other great swim spots around include South Sands Beach (0.5 miles) and Paignton Beach (0.5 miles). If you’re away with your kids, check out Pirates Bay Adventure Golf (0.5 miles) or head to the zoo (1.5 miles). The best green spaces nearby are the Clennon Valley Lakes (1 mile) and a bit further afield you can find Berry Head National Nature Reserve (6.5 miles).
