Excellent parking, pretty outside area with plenty of seating. Set in a rural valley with lots of wildlife, Roe deer frequent visitors. Pleasant and helpful owner. Close to M4 junction 17 so very easy to get to places. The only negative we found was the cottage could do with a deep clean, saying which, the bedding and towels were immaculate. Excellent layout for family or friends holidaying together.

Garden an absolute delight to relax in with amazing countryside views. Great location for Bath and even Weston-Super-Mare not to mention Malmsbury that also has a great fish & chip shop. We love our stay here and can highly recommend it.

The garden is also a great size, with nice furniture for relaxing or dining outside. The kitchen was particularly well equipped and really spacious. It was generally very clean but a few areas are ready for a bit more attention (eg shower floors need a more thorough clean, and headboard in main bedroom), and there was a broken toilet seat (which has been faulty for months according to guest book comments) and the bathroom door handle. Also only 8 clothes hangers for 6 people! However the caretaker responded quickly to some issues and queries we had, which was appreciated. We did feel that an info folder would have been handy and there was no welcome pack (eg bread/milk/biscuits) which is unusual nowadays, however we were given a dozen eggs the day after arrival which were lovely and much appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the cottage and its location to be really good.
