Reviewers frequently mention the hut's cleanliness, describing it as very clean and well-kept, which indicates high standards of hygiene and maintenance.
The location is highly praised for its seclusion and proximity to nature, offering a peaceful setting in the woods and opportunities to see wildlife. Its closeness to local attractions like Framlingham adds to its appeal.

The hut is commended for being well-equipped with essentials like a small oven, hobs, and a shower. The fire pit is a beloved feature, although guests must provide their own wood. Some mention of a welcome pack suggests additional amenities are provided.
Guests frequently express gratitude for the thoughtful touches, such as breakfast items and a welcome pack. While these gestures are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Great little property really enjoyed staying there!

A beautiful shepherds hut, fully equipped with a very comfortable bed, also a TV /dvd - fully functioning kitchen with a convector oven and hob and small fridge - shower and toilet -everything you need is provided by the lovely and thoughtful host Alison - welcoming hamper included which provided me with a wonderful breakfast on my first day. Previous guests have said get a toaster but if you read the manual the oven has a grill function and does some lovely toast. This hut is set in a secluded woodland which for the duration of your stay is yours to explore - pick up firewood and place in the fire pit and sit around it in the chairs and table provided. Firewood was already there but it’s fun to search for it yourself. There is heating in the hut but I didn’t need it and found the temperature to be just right. I was a sole traveller and although secluded from everything felt very safe and secure. Peacocks from adjoining property come to visit - it rained and was windy during the 3 days that I stayed but didn’t impede on my visit at all. I visited Framlington castle for an event and it’s only 10 mins drive away from this wonderful sanctuary. Highly recommend.
