The property is described as a comfortable 'home away from home', ideal for families and well-equipped for a pleasant stay.
Most guests found the property clean and well-presented, but there were instances of cleanliness issues upon arrival, including unclean toilets and surfaces. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than the norm.

The only thing missing was a vacuum or a decent brush and dustpan as a week is a long time to not be able to hoover up!

It is very spacious, well presented and central to everything including the Abbey Gardens and restaurants, which is what we wanted. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable and full of historical charm. We didn't have a car so cannot comment on parking. It is located on a very busy traffic corner which may bother some, but this didn't us at all as it is so central and a short walk to everything in town. Would definitely recommend to those who are looking for the same.
