Guests say

11a Market Cross Place in Aldeburgh offers a well-furnished apartment with a spacious kitchen, comfortable seating, and a large bedroom. Its prime seafront location is praised, and the property is recommended for its proximity to local seafood shacks and restaurants. Some guests suggest improvements in maintenance and cleanliness, but the property's charm and amenities are well-regarded.

The property's cleanliness received mixed feedback. While some areas were described as clean and well-maintained, others mentioned unclean outdoor spaces, a musty smell, and mould in the bathroom, suggesting room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for being on the seafront and close to local amenities, making it an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy Aldeburgh's offerings.

The property provides comfortable seating and a large bed, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, concerns about the lack of handrails in the bath and the need for better lighting in the bedroom indicate that comfort could be enhanced.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. However, issues with TV reception, a broken front door knob, and the need for a shower stool for accessibility have been noted.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the owners. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category based on the reviews provided.

11a this August. As I get older the climb in and out of the bath is becoming too challenging for me to do safely. A sturdy stool would have made it much safer or indeed just a shower and the lovely old Bath removed.

Just a couple of things, the back yard was very unclean, we couldn't use the area at all. (I have photos)The TV reception was really bad, I'm not able to get around easily so these things mattered to us on a break. That said it was a very nice flat.

The property has 3 large rooms, all of which are well furnished and set out. The kitchen is very large and well presented and equipped. Lovely large living room with comfortable seating. Large bed in a good sized bedroom. Very nice bathroom. All very clean and well maintained. The property is ideally located on the sea front. The sea food shacks on the beach are excellent, dressed lobster and noon pies were real treats. Aldeburgh is great with lovely restaurants. A very good property in a lovely town. Would definitely recommend.
