Aldeburgh has an excellent selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, not to mention its famous fish and chip shop. There are a number of excellent golf courses nearby, including a course at Aldeburgh and one at Thorpeness. Thorpeness also offers a popular boating lake, ideal for children and big kids alike! There is excellent walking, cycling and wildlife on your doorstep, with plenty of nature reserves nearby including RSPB Minsmere. The area is rich in culture and with Snape Maltings and its world-famous concert hall just a few miles up the road you can enjoy concerts and events throughout the year.
