We’re regular visitors to Walberswick and know the village very well. Lane End is well-positioned in the centre of the village with easy access to the beach, shops and pub. The house is comfortable and easy to live in and an ideal base for exploring this part of the Suffolk coast. The property fronts onto the road so there is some noise but we didn’t find it intrusive. It was great to have a private parking space as on-road parking in the village is limited.

Whilst the accommodation is comfortable and of a relatively high standard, there seems to be a lack of maintenance checks (downstairs shower needs repairing or replacing). Unable to receive have any BBC channels on the television, there is no radio anywhere within the property, and only one small wall-clock! The microwave oven is not located within the kitchen area. (it is inappropriately connected to an electric socket in a hallway cupboard!!) Overall, my wife and I found the shortcomings extremely disappointing. In the circumstances this accommodation represents poor value for money.

Good location and upstairs lounge especially lovely to spend time in. We didn’t find it straight away ( no house name or number) but it is virtually opposite the Anchor Pub - which is also a good place to go.
