If you can drag yourself away from the luxury that is Beach Retreat, you are well placed to explore both Suffolk and Norfolk, being right on the border. Oulton Broad, known as the southern gateway to the Norfolk Broads National Park, is a short car journey away. Here you will find excellent independent restaurants, pubs and lovely little cafés. Norwich is a fine city, also easily accessible by car or public transport. This bustling city offers history, culture and superb shopping with a medieval castle and cobbled streets.
