Guests say

Guests have consistently praised Blue Moon Cottage as a spotlessly clean, comfortable, and charming property, ideal for exploring Suffolk's coast and the Norfolk Broads. Its proximity to the beach and local amenities like fish and chip shops, pubs, and shops has been appreciated, with special mentions of the delightful local dining experiences.

Reviewers have specifically noted the property as 'spotlessly clean', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its closeness to the beach, local shops, and pubs, as well as being a good base for exploring the area. One point deducted as no location can be perfect for every guest.

Comfort is frequently mentioned, with guests finding the beds 'super comfy' and the cottage 'comfortable'. A slight deduction is made due to the mention of a steep staircase to the bathroom, which may not be comfortable for all.

While the reviews mention the property being well-equipped, there is not enough detailed information on the range of facilities and their maintenance to provide a score.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to score this category. Guests should note that while such gestures may be appreciated, they are not guaranteed.

This is a delightful cottage down a quiet cul-de-sac, just a few minutes walk from the beach and even closer to a great fish and chip shop. We were four adults, using the two double rooms and it was perfect for us, well-equipped and comfortable. If you need to go to the loo in the middle of the night, be aware that it's a steep staircase down to the bathroom which is downstairs. Kessingland is an ideal base for exploring the Suffolk coast and the Norfolk Broads and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

The cottage was lovely - even nicer than the photos show - and the location was great too. We'd advise using the free beach carpark 2 mins from cottage for the duration of the stay.

We had a fantastic stay. The beds were super comfy. The local shop and pub were great. Altogether a lovely holiday in a cute cottage ❤️
