Daisy Lodge is consistently praised for its spaciousness, privacy, and peaceful rural setting. Guests appreciate the proximity to local attractions and the natural beauty of Suffolk. The lodge's outdoor space and comfortable interior make it an ideal retreat for relaxation and exploration of the surrounding areas.
Most guests found the property clean, but one review mentioned it requires a deep clean and better upkeep. This suggests room for improvement, although it does not seem to be a widespread concern.
The location is highly regarded for its tranquillity and convenience to nearby towns and coastal areas. It is described as idyllic and perfect for those seeking a peaceful break.
Guests have found their stay comfortable, with the lodge catering to their needs. The property is described as ideal for couples and provides a relaxing environment.
While the reviews mention the property being well-equipped and environmentally friendly, there is insufficient detail to accurately assess the overall state of facilities and maintenance.
A welcome pack was mentioned positively, indicating a level of thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and not all reviews mention them, this score reflects the limited information available.

The welcome pack was very nice and the property is very spacious. The location is very good for lots of places to visit in Suffolk and Norfolk. We enjoyed watching the pheasants in the adjoining field. Most of the equipment we needed was provided ( except a draining board as we don’t use a dishwasher for the few pots that we use ) . This property could be really nice, unfortunately it has not been looked after and is now in a state where it needs a deep clean, inside and out. It is difficult to find as the signage is not adequate. The cleaning does appear to be minimal ( I am aware that the cleaners do not have a lot of time between guests) . Although the booking form says 1000 departure, the cottage information book says 0900 , so we departed a day early. We had very good weather which made all the difference and we enjoyed the things we managed to do.

It is a comfortable extremely quiet and basically well equipped which we have visited twice.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daisy Lodge. It might be a bit remote for some, but Southwold, Aldeburgh, Saxmundham are all about 6-8 miles away. Halesworth, the nearest town is well worth a visit especially the Deli. Would love to go back someday but it is a 5 hour journey from home, but if you do not do these things the effort is well worth it.
