The property sleeps four guests and is the perfect base for couples and small families looking to switch off from the humdrum of everyday life. You’ll be perfectly placed for exploring the Broads, with Beccles just 8.5 miles away, as well as the picturesque Suffolk coastline (13 miles).
The charming 17th-century property has been sympathetically renovated to celebrate its period features, and is decorated in a country-cottage style. The cottage is warm and welcoming, with a dual-sided wood burner between the lounge and dining room, as well as underfloor heating. The characterful lounge is a delightful place to unwind after exploring the local area, either reading a book in the armchair or watching the Smart TV/DVD. Adjacent to the lounge is the dining room, with a large table for enjoying dinner parties and countryside views from the dual-aspect windows. Completing the ground floor is the kitchen, which is decorated in delicate pastel shades and has a cute breakfast bar, and a utility room. A superb property in a secluded position yet only 5 miles from town. Walnut Cottage is a cosy, comfortable, spacious rental with wrap around gardens laid mainly to lawn. The kitchen is very well equipped. The whole property is light and airy and welcoming.

Not one for writing reviews, I am only too pleased to say what a great time we had at Walnut Cottage. Spotlessly clean, quiet peaceful location, walks on your doorstep, good beaches and historic sites within easy reach what more could you ask for. Oh yes the fantastic weather and delicious home made cake. Perfect .

Peace, quiet and privacy in a picture book , well appointed, dog-friendly cottage with gardens boasting fruit trees, lovely planting and large lawns - what more do you need? Oh, and lots to do and see nearby like Southwold or Oulton Broads for example. Heaven.
