Bredon is a small village on the edge of the Cotswolds aonb in Worcestershire, with the River Avon running through it. The village is at the foot of Bredon Hill (991ft), which inspired Parsons' Folly (1000ft) in the 18th century. The town centre has several shops, two pubs, a restaurant, a fish and chip shop and a scenic marina, along with the National Trust's 14th-century Bredon Barn. Close by is Tewkesbury, a historic riverside town with over 350 listed buildings and great country walks to the Severn Way and Shakespeare's Avon Way, as well as Cheltenham spa and Gloucester city centre.
