On the eastern side of the striking Malvern Hills, the lovely Worcestershire town of Malvern, which dates to the Bronze Age, is located. The hills, which are part of a nine-mile stretch of ancient rock and are designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offer 100 miles of footpaths and bridleways with natural springs and expansive vistas in all directions. The town has several auctions, farmers' markets, antiques fairs, WI country markets, antique shows, and the Great Malvern Food Festival in June. The Malvern Theatre hosts performances from the Royal Shakespeare Company and the West End.
