If you prefer to dine alfresco, make use of the pretty enclosed garden to savour your mealtimes, take a seat at the table and chairs to rest your tired legs after a long day. When the stars appear overhead, retire to the first floor to wash away the day in a stunning bathroom before opting for one of three bedrooms, including a super-king-size on the ground floor, a double and a twin to rest your head in. In the morning, venture into the nearby village of Pembridge which is steeped in history with its Tudor buildings and the 14th-century landmark of St Mary's Church. After a scenic walk in the close-by Hergest Croft Gardens in Kington, be sure to stop off at The Red Lion or The New Inn where you can refuel with a hearty pub lunch. If you don't fancy cooking one evening, book a table at the Cider Barn, an award-winning restaurant located just a short walk away from your lodgings. Further afield, discover the National Trust sites of Croft Castle and Parkland, as well as Berrington Hall, two wonderful spots for exploring expansive gardens and estates, or indulging a family picnic. Further afield, uncover the delights of the Shropshire Hills AONB, with an abundance of walking, hiking and cycling opportunities, in addition to Stokesay Castle, Land of Lost Content Museum and Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd. A day trip to Ludlow or Hay-on-Wye, two towns brimming with independent cafes and restaurants, should also be on the agenda whilst you're in the region. However you choose to spend your days here in Hereford, do it from the charming base of Applecroft.

On the banks of the River Arrow, the charming village of Eardisland is a gorgeous setting for a tranquil holiday. This charming village offers all you need, including neighbourhood bars, tea shops, and a community store selling local produce inside a dovecote. The river's surroundings are home to a variety of birds, which adds to the appeal of this destination. Nearby Weobley is a charming village with numerous timber-framed buildings and high-notch amenities like a village store, neighbourhood pubs, and the famed Jules restaurant. Weobley was formerly ranked among the top ten places to live in England. The literary town of Hay-on-Wye, mediaeval Ludlow, and Hereford, with its mediaeval bridge across the River Wye, Mappa Mundi globe map, and Chained Library, are all easily accessible. Brecon Beacons National Park and the majestic Black Mountains are also wonderful places to spend the day. This is a great place for walking and cycling paths as well as experiencing superb local produce at a nearby cheese factory, vineyard, and cider farms because it is surrounded by stunning rolling landscape, including Offa's Dyke and the Golden Valley.
