Situated in the rolling hills of North Herefordshire, between Ludlow and Hay-on-Wye, in the heart of the Welsh Marches, lies the tiny rural hamlet of Luntley – a charming, tranquil location. A mere two miles from Luntley is the medieval village of Pembridge – renowned as the "Jewel in the Crown" of the famous "Black & White Village Trail". With three traditional country pubs, a market hall and unusual church – with a detached tower dating back to the fourteenth century, as well as a whole host of half-timbered houses, this lovely village is sure to please any history enthusiasts or those interested in architecture. The surrounding countryside also offers a wealth of activities, including walking, cycling, riding and fishing. With so much to do in the near vicinity, it's unlikely you'll even need to take a trip to nearby Hereford, Hay-on-Wye, medieval Ludlow and the impressive Shropshire Hills.

It's a lovely property - very comfortable and clean with great character. It's surrounded by beautiful countryside with plenty of walks. The owners are very friendly and communication with them is very easy. Will definitely be returning.

The very well thought through conversion of the old farm buildings create an idyllic setting surrounded by lovely garden and playing fields which the kids loved so much the didn't miss the electronics even though the wi-fi was perfect when required. The beds were comfy, showers hot and powerful and kitchen packed with equipment. Very good value for money and we would love to come back one day.

It is of course an ancient building and has the creaks and groans on floorboards and stairs as one would expect. I would certainly like to return one day and continue further voyages in to the wonderful countryside that is the Welsh borders.
